- Lean Yeoh recommends Hokkien Mee along Jelutong Road across from Jelutong Post Office (GPS: 5.38744, 100.31284)
, priced at RM3, cheap and nice. - Lucia Lai recommends char koay kak selling for RM2.20 (Dec 2017) at Desa Green.
- Colbert Lew recommends the wan than mee at the corner of Malay Street and Beach Street (GPS: 5.41271, 100.33587)
; economy fried bee hoon, koay teow and Maggi mee at Bayan Baru Market Food Court in the morning, with egg RM1.90, without egg RM1.20, good value for money (GPS: 5.32507, 100.28564)
