George Leith's Grave (23 February 2009)


The George Leith buried at the Protestant Cemetery in George Town, Penang was a Conductor of Ordnance. He was born in 1791 and died in 1831. Although they share the same name, he does not appear to be related to Major General George Alexander William Leith, the Lieutenant-Governor of Penang, who died in 1842.
