Ali Bubur Gama Corner (GPS: 5.41324, 100.32834) is an Indian Muslim hawker operating from a pushcart stall at the junction of Brick Kiln Road and Trang Road, behind Gama Department Store. According to the signage at his stall, he has been operating since 1970. The stall claims that it has "the best traditional recipe", and when I visited and tried its sweet broth, I can't help agreeing!
Ali Bubur Gama Corner sells bubur pulut hitam (black glutinous rice broth) RM1.60 eat in/RM1.70 to go, bubur gandum (wheat broth) RM1.50 eat in/RM1.60 to go, and bubur kacang hijau (mungbean broth) at RM1.50 eat in/RM1.60 to go during my visit on April 2016. I ordered the bubur pulut hitam and the bubur kacang hijau. Both comes with a handful of glutinous rice.
The sweet broth at Ali Bubur Gama Corner is just nice, not too sweet nor is it too diluted. Having eaten it once, I can't wait to return soon.
