Enjoy a portfolio of landscapes by FwuKai Quah. These are shots taken at various locations in Penang, particularly on the western coast of Penang Island.
Fwukai Quah's comment on "Spooky House - Sungai Burong": Hahaha! well before I say anything, I want to thank my friend, a brave soul for finding this house, his name is Chew Kok Jin. This guy likes to scout new places all by himself.
So this shot, if I'm not mistaken, it was taken somewhere around 3am in the morning, and the house was uninhabitated yet when I was there (in fact it looks like there's a renovation project going on), the house was located at a very secluded spot in Sungai Burong, and the surrounding was really really really dark!
Again I have to thank Mr. brave soul KokJin for lighting up the interior with his torch light. The exposure was 30s to capture the maximum available light under an aperture of F2.8. I'm not sure if the house is still in this state or maybe it is now occupied by the owner, one have to find out. Mosquitoes are afraid of Ginger Oil, so do wear alot of it if you are venturing into their territory :)
Infact, in my time-lapse of this scene where you'll see many stars and Milky Way, they are all real. I have to reiterate this because there's still people who doesn't believe we could see many stars in the sky.
