There are two Flea Markets in Penang. One is the Lorong Kulit Flea Market which operates every day, and the other is the Acheen Street Flea Market, which takes place every Sunday. Both are interesting places to browse for old items, and on occasion, you may be able to pick up something of value.

If you are looking for second-hand books, then head for the Chowrasta Market Second-Hand Bookshops.
