Anacapri is a town on the island of Capri, which is within the province of Naples, in the region of Campania, in southern Italy. It covers 6.39 sq km (2.47 sq mi) and has a population of 6,500 people (2012 estimate). The town is 275 m (902 ft) above sea level, and affords good vistas of the sea.
In comparison with the nearby city of Capri, the town of Anacapri is at a higher elevation. Some of the places here, such as Villa San Michele, affords scenic views of the surrounding landscape and coast.

Getting around the island of Capri requires that you either take the bus or the taxi. However, taxis can be quite expensive. Buses on the other hand costs €1.30 per ride.
