Oststeinbek is a small town in the district of Stormann, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany. It covers 11 sq km (4 sq mi) and has a population of 8,600 people (2012 estimate).

Oststeinbek traces its history to its founding in 1254. This enabled it to celebrate its 750th anniversary in 2004. The town is just 13 km to the east of Hamburg and can be easily reached from there.
