Bad Hindelang is a small town in the district of Oberallgäu, in the region of Swabia, in southern Bavaria, Germany. As its name indicates, Bad Hindelang is a health resort. The name denotes the presence of a sulphur spring that was developed for its therapeutic properties since the 19th century. The town itself is much older than that. In 1660 Prince-Bishop of Augsburg Sigismund Franz built a hunting lodge here. It was renovated and today serves as the local town hall.
