Chit Seng Kong (GPS: 5.35172, 100.21013) (七圣宫) is a Chinese Temple off Jalan Baru in
Balik Pulau. Dedicated to the deity Qi Sheng Niang Niang (七圣娘娘), it traces its founding to 1897, when the western part of Penang Island was being settled. Subordinate deities include Zhu Sheng Niang Niang (註生娘娘) and Guan Yin Fo Zhu (观音佛祖).
Chit Seng Kong celebrates the feast day of Qi Sheng Niang Niang on the 7th day of the 7th month, the feast day of Guan Yin on the 19th day of the 6th month, and the feast day of Zhu Sheng Niang Niang on the 20th day of the 3rd month of the lunar calendar. The temple is managed by the Chit Seng Devotee Association. It opens to the general public daily from 7:00 am in the morning to 7:00 pm in the evening.
