There are a number of shops selling Chinese prayer articles in Penang. Most of these are located in George Town, particularly along Pitt Street , around the Kuan Im Teng temple. You can also find quite a number of such shops along Kimberley Street and Carnarvon Street .

Shops selling Chinese prayer articles are where you can find altars, joss sticks, idols of Taoist deities, Buddha images, urns, as well as "hell money" for use as offerings to the departed.
