Kampong Thom is the capital city of Kampong Thom Province in central Cambodia. It is a city of around 20,000 people (2012 estimate).

Visiting Kampong Thom

There are buses and minibuses from Phnom Penh to Kampong Thom. The fare is 8000 riel. Alternatively, you can get a seat in a shared taxi for the same journey for 25,000 riel.
