Delicious Bayan Baru Market Nasi Kandar for lunch (16 July 2016)


Today I had my lunch at the Bayan Baru Market Hawker Centre. After a moment's indecision, I decided to have the nasi kandar, from the stall called Restoran Farsal. I often have this nasi kandar in the early morning, but I was quite late today, so most of the stuff was already sold out, including all the vegetable dishes.

I ended up ordering one squid and one hard boiled egg. The gravy of this nasi kandar is really nice and rich with onions. The price of this plate of nasi kandar was RM6.60. At the moment of paying, I asked how much would a piece of fish cost, and was told it would be between RM3.80 to RM4.00. So I decided not to include fish. Even with just these two items, I enjoyed my lunch.
