33 China Street

33 China Street, George Town, Penang (7 July 2008)


33 China Street is a two-storey building along China Street, George Town. It is usually painted olive-green. It is believed to have been built in the mid-19th century, and has been renovated a few times throughout the 20th century.

33 China Street originally had three arch openings on the ground floor. In a recent renovation, the arches were removed. The entire façade is rusticated.
