The Sri Ambakarathur Paliakaliamman Temple, also known as the Sri Ambala Kaliamman Kovil, is a Hindu temple in Kampung Bahru, Air Itam. The temple has existed since the early part of the 20th century, and has been renovated and expanded a few times. As with most South Indian style temples in Penang, it has a pavillion surrounding the inner sanctuary, over which is the tower, or gopuram.

Getting there

Sri Ambakarathur Paliakaliamman Temple is located along Jalan Air Itam, near the junction with Boundary Road. You can take Rapid Penang Bus 202 that pass in front of it.
