Seventh-Day Adventist Church 160 Jalan Burma, 10500 Penang

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church at Jalan Burma is the main church building of the Adventist in Penang. The church traces its roots back to 1924, when Dr Earl Gardner opened his first clinic at 108 Muntri Street, which today becomes the Penang Adventist Hospital.
Over the years, the congregation had outgrown the size of its existing church building, making it necessary for the church to consider putting up a bigger building. In December 1998, the old church building was demolished. The present new Adventist church building was completed at the end of 1999, allowing it to be occupied on 1 January 2000.
Services are on Saturday at 8:15 am for the English-speaking congregation and 11:00 am for the Chinese-speaking congregation, both held at the main Sanctuary. Services for the Tamil-speaking congregation is at 9:00 am on the first floor of Dewan Adventist, which is behind the main Sanctuary. Services are also conducted at the Penang Adventist Hospital and at a house church in Farlim.
