Sheikh Tahir Observatory, or Pusat Falak Sheikh Tahir, is an Islamic astronomical centre located along the road to Pantai Acheh on the west coast of Penang. It was named in honour of Sheikh Muhammad Tahir Jalaluddin, a famous Muslim astronomer of the Malay archipelago.
