The Kuantan Road Market is a market that has existing since before the Second World War. The market building, which was built in the Art Deco style, is still standing today. It faces Kuantan Road, which becomes crowded every morning due to the market spilling into the road, all the way to the Dato Kramat Road junction.
Getting there
Take Rapid Penang Bus 11, 201, 202, 203, 204, 206, 301, or 502 to Dato Kramat Road. Ring the bell to alight after you see Penang Times Square on your left.
