Kedai Kopi Melo (GPS: 5.41966, 100.33977) is a coffee shop in George Town, Penang. It is located on Bishop Street, at the junction with Pitt Street. The coffee shop is small, with just a few tables. I see that there is a nasi kandar stall there, but I haven't tried it yet.
My wife and I bought nasi kandar from here to have at home. We each had one piece of fish, one boiled egg and ladies fingers. It costs RM7 per pack. It's delicious even eaten at home.
Nasi kandar from Kedai Kopi Melo, eaten at home. (14 January, 2017)

I have heard excellent reviews about the nasi kandar at Kedai Kopi Melo. So that I went there to try it out for the first time. I ordered squid, hard-boiled egg and ladies fingers. After a few mouthful, I went back and asked for a piece of fish also and more gravy.
My plate of nasi kandar costs RM10.60. Not cheap. But I tell you, it is absolutely delicious! I cannot imagine why I am the only occupied table in the coffee shop. I suppose it's because I was very early (eating at 10:30 am in the morning). I like the kuah, I like the squid and I like the fish, which is fresh and nicely done. Oh, I look forward to coming back!

I learned from the nasi kandar hawker that his stall operates from 9:00 am to 4:00 Mondays to Fridays, and till lunch time on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
