Horizon Tower (see map) is an apartment complex comprising two 14-storey blocks at Tanjung Bungah Park, Penang. There are 56 units, on freehold tenure, with sizes from 2,357 to 2,390 square feet. The estimated selling price is between RM600,000 to RM700,000 while the estimated monthly rental is from RM2,000 to RM4,000. Maintenance fee is RM0.18 per square foot.

Location

Horizon Tower is 7.8 km from Magazine Circus. It is a slight distance from George Town but it still suitable for those working in George Town.

Public Transport

If you wish to take public transport, you have a long walk from Tanjung Bungah Park to the nearest bus stop along Jalan Tanjung Bungah. Rapid Penang Bus 101 pass along the road.

Amenities

The nearest petrol station is the Caltex along Jalan Tanjung Bungah. The nearest schools include SK Tanjong Tokong and SJK (C) Hun Bin. The nearest market is the Tanjung Bungah Market. The nearest shopping centres include Tesco Tanjung Pinang, Straits Quay and Island Plaza. The nearest hospital is Penang Adventist Hospital (not counting Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital).

Traffic

Traffic within the Tanjung Bungah Park area is light, but not so Jalan Tanjung Bungah. However the road has been widened so traffic flow is usually smooth. However, the awkward alignment of the road to accommodate the many right-turn traffic lights makes for a rather hazardous drive.
