Facilities
Facilities include security services, parking lot, swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, barbeque pit, badminton court, children's playground, community hall and intercom.
Location
Desa Golf is 14.4 km from Magazine Circus, on the way up Bukit Jambul. It is ideal for people working in the south side, such as Bayan Lepas Industrial Zone, but it would be quite a distance for those working in the city. You can use the coastal expressway to quickly reach the city, but that would not be a good option for evening rush hour, particularly on Fridays, when commuters rush to use the Penang Bridge.
Public Transport
If you depend on public transport, you have to walk down to Jalan Tun Dr Awang to catch the bus. Rapid Penang Bus 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308 and 705 are the buses that you can take
Amenities
The nearest school is Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Sin Min at the junction of Persiaran Bukit Jambul with Jalan Tun Dr Awang. Other schools include Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Shih Chung, Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Kwang Hwa and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Nibong. The nearest market is the Lip Sin Market. The nearest shopping mall is Bukit Jambul Complex. The nearest petrol station is the Esso at Bukit Jambul Complex. The nearest hospital is Pantai Hospital.
Traffic
Traffic along Persiaran Bukit Jambul is heavy during the morning and evening rush hour. The road is very congested in the morning, with motorist travelling down the road from Paya Terubong and Relau. The number of traffic lights along Jalan Tun Dr Awang further slows down traffic.
