Bon Ton Resort (GPS: 6.30945, 99.72435) is a boutique hotel in Langkawi. Charmingly rustic, Bon Ton is located along Jalan Kuala Muda, just north of Pantai Cenang. Like a well guarded (and now, well known) secret, Bon Ton Resort does not reveal much of itself from the main road. It's only after you've enter through its front door, through the reception and into the resort itself that the place unravels its charm.

The resort comprises a cluster of eight charming Malay kampong houses which were originally located in different parts of Kedah. These were bought, dismantled and relocated to the site, where they were rebuilt, restored and readapted as luxurious chalets.

Also located within Bon Ton Resort is a restaurant patronised by both the in-house guests as well as outside visitors. There is also a souvenir shop selling various local items. Adjacent is a sister resort, Temple Tree at Bon Ton, which houses a cluster of restored bungalows from various parts of the country.

Boutique Chalets at Bon Ton Resort

There is a total of just 8 boutique chalets at Bon Ton, each accommodating a couple. Once actual kampung houses, they have been readapted with modern amenities and air conditioning, but the exterior fits nicely into the lush locale as though they are part of a kampong, or Malay village. These chalets were each given a name including Black Coral, Blue Ginger, Cahaya, Laguna, Palm, Silk, White Frangipanni and Yellow Orchid.
