Timothy Tye's Pro Food Blogging Course

Timothy Tye's Pro Food Blogging Course

Timothy Tye's Pro Food Blogging Course is a course to create professional-quality food bloggers. As the medium for exposure for marketing communication moves away from print towards social media, the food and beverage industry in Penang and Kuala Lumpur need food bloggers of professional standard to provide them with the essential exposure and visibility. What better way to manage such a group of bloggers than to create it myself.

Why create this course

I decided to create this course because I have identified that there is a market for professional-quality food bloggers. In order to tap this market demand, I need a group of food bloggers whose skills are marketable. And what better way to have such a group of bloggers than to create it myself.

I will guide every participants to establish their food blogs and once their blogs attain satisfactory amount of traffic, I will give them opportunities to receive unpaid and paid food reviews.

Participants do not need any blogging skills. A Wordpress expert is engaged to help him put together his Wordpress blog, register the domain and hosting, and add Google Analytics, so that he can track his progress from the start. As his blog becomes established, he will get to add Google Adsense (and even Ezoic), and get the opportunity to receive unpaid as well as paid food reviews.

Number of participants

I will start this course even if there is just ONE participant, and will add to the team as more sign up. When the team reaches EIGHT participants, I will schedule a 2-day workshop (venue already selected) where the participants can get to learn face-to-face and handle practical assignments. There is no limit to the total number of food bloggers being mentored at any one time, but each time EIGHT new participants are attained, a workshop is scheduled for them.
