Ngwe Saung Beach is a beautiful beach resort in Myanmar. Facing the Bay of Bengal, Ngwe Saung Beach is located about 48 km west of Pathein, and about five hours from Yangon.

Visitors to Ngwe Saung Beach is greeted by long stretches of pristine white sandy beach. As the number of foreign tourists to the area is still low, Ngwe Saung Beach does not have the tourist amenities that one would expect in the resorts in Thailand. However, the tranquility and calm of the area makes it a relaxing getaway.

When night falls, Ngwe Saung Beach becomes dark and quiet. There isn't much to do at night. Among the activities that you can do during the day time include visiting an elephant training camp or take a long walk along the beach. One of the landmarks here are two shrines built on a rocky formation facing the beach.
