Kyatkatwine Teaching Monastery in
Bago is one of the largest monasteries in Myanmar. Thousands of monks receive their education at Kyatkatwine. One of the highlights for visitors to the Kyatkatwine is lunch time, when the monks would gather for their pre-noon meal (monks are not allowed to eat after noon time).
Visitors are allowed to scoop the rice for the queuing monks, as did the group from AsiaExplorers when we visited the monastery.
