Pulau Lang Tengah (GPS: 5.79674, 102.89522) is a small, idyllic island in the South China Sea. It is located between the Perhentian Islands and Pulau Redang.

Pulau Lang Tengah is ideal for vacationers who want to get away from all the noise of the city. As it is less commercialized compared to Redang or Perhentian, it is ideal for those looking for a relaxing holiday. The nightlife over here, in comparison, is quite, and can be described as boring. Nonetheless it would be a good place for families.

How to reach Pulau Lang Tengah

Take the boat from the jetty at Merang. Between April and August, there are regular services at 10:00 am and 12:00 noon, with return trips at 8:30 am and 2:00 pm. Between September and March, the ferryboats leave Merang at 12:30 pm and return at 2:00 pm. The one-way fare is RM40 per adult.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
