Restoran Sri Choon Keng Seafood (GPS: 3.010199, 101.417141) is a Chinese eatery in Port Klang, Selangor. It is located at the junction of Jalan Jagong and Jalan Kacang, in the scruffy working-class neighbourhood of Pandamaran New Village. It specializes in claypot seafood curry noodles. When my wife and I first learned about it, we decided to make a trip to Port Klang just to try out the noodles. Before going there, I checked out the site using Google Maps and Street View, so I was able to accurately pinpoint its location using GPS. Having GPS is such a convenience, as it wasn't too much trouble finding the place.

We arrived at Restoran Sri Choon Keng Seafood at noon. We were told that business starts at noon, but when we arrived, the cook hasn't arrived, so we had to wait about 15 minutes before our orders were taken. During that time, the other tables began to fill up with patrons. Finally, the waitress came to take our order. For drinks, we opted for Chinese tea.

Our order finally arrived at our table at 12:45 pm. It had been a long wait, but was worth the wait, as the curry noodles was simply delicious. There are four big prawns in the bowl, with taupok and cockles. The curry is very rich with santan, which gives it a most satisfying taste. By the end of the meal, we finished everything, not only the noodles and its ingredients but the curry gravy as well! It was so delicious, and I couldn't wait to return to this place again soon.

I The claypot noodle cost RM18 while the tea was RM5. So we paid a total of RM23 for the meal, which I felt was quite reasonable.
