Putatan, Kota Kinabalu

Putatan (GPS: 5.8912, 116.04852) is a town to the south of Kota Kinabalu. The town has a population of about 85,000 (2007 est.). It used to be part of the district of Penampang, but was made an independent district since 1 March 2007. Putatan is near the town of Lok Kawi. Among the sights here includes INTI College Sabah.
