Double Six Monument (GPS: 5.96221, 116.0618), or
Tugu Peringatan Double Six, is a memorial in
Sembulan, Kota Kinabalu. It marks the spot where the plane carrying Sabah's fifth chief minister, Tun Mohd Fuad Stephens, and six state ministers, crashed on 6-6-1976, killing all on board. The area around the monument has since been spruced up and is now known as the Double
Six Memorial Park.
