Telegraph Museum, Taiping

Telegraph Museum (GPS: 4.85499, 100.74164) is a museum in Taiping. It occupies the building directly behind the Taiping Post Office. The museum opened to the public in July, 2018. The building used to the the Telecom headquarters during the late 19th century. The museum came about following the launch of the Taiping Heritage Trail in 2015.

After many years of being disused, the historic building was restored and spruced up to become the first museum dedicated to telegraph in the country.
