Wat Sitawanaram, Sitiawan

Wat Sitawanaram (GPS: 4.198, 100.69999) is a major Siamese temple in Sitiawan, Perak. This temple of the Theravada Buddhism tradition is said to have been established by the pocket Thai community in the early 20th century. Today the temple has grown into a sprawling complex comprising a number of buildings. The main feature is the hall containing a huge seated Buddha statue.
