Kerian is a district on the west coast of Perak. This relatively small district is bordered by Seberang Perai and Kedah to the north, and the district of Larut, Matang & Selama to the east. The administrative centre of this district is at Parit Buntar. Other towns in Kerian include Bagan Serai, Kuala Kurau and Tanjung Piandang.
