Old Uncle with Coffee Cup (3 May, 2016)
Old Uncle with Coffee Cup Mural (GPS: 4.59798, 101.07618) is a street mural in Ipoh, Perak. It is located on Jalan Tun Sambanthan, across from the Ipoh Tourist Information Centre.
After this mural was completed, it attracted a rather strange outcry from some narrow-minded people who claimed that the subject resembles Malayan Communist Party leader, the late Chin Peng. In fact, the person in that mural is not Chin Peng, but a local, albeit from Penang.
