F.M.S. Bar & Restaurant (GPS: 4.59866, 101.07807) is a historic shophouse in the Ipoh Old Town. Located at the junction of Jalan Sultan Yusuf with Jalan Sultan Idris Shah, it opened in 1906 and became the watering hole of European miners and planters. The F.M.S stands for Federated Malay States.
Today the F.M.S. Bar & Restaurant is still in operation, holding the distinction of being the oldest restaurant in Malaysia, and run by the fourth generation. The place is now a location on the Ipoh Heritage Trail.
