Vivekananda Ashram, Kuala Lumpur

Vivekananda Ashram (GPS: 3.13062, 101.68545) is a Hindu-oriented spiritual hermitage in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. It occupies a double-storey building along Jalan Tun Sambanthan, at the junction of Jalan Rozario.

Vivekananda Ashram revers Swami Vivekananda (Bengali: স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ) (1863-1902), a Hindu monk who was intrumental in introducing Vedanta and Yoga across the world. A statue of Swami Vevekananda graces the front lawn of the ashram. The ashram is probably also involved in the founding of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Vivekananda next door.
