SMK La Salle Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur

SMK La Salle (GPS: 3.12734, 101.68351), also called La Salle Brickfields, is a secondary school for boys in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. It occupies the same ground as SK La Salle Brickfields 1 & 2, on Jalan Tun Sambanthan, at the junction with Jalan Sultan Abdul Samad in Little India.

La Salle Brickfields was founded in 1953 by De La Salle Christian Brothers, the Catholic missionaries that have planted many schools in the country. Originally the school began with five classes held at the St John Institution. It moved to Brickfields the following year. The school was administered by a superintendent until 1956, when Reverend Brother Raphael became its first headmaster.

Today La Salle Brickfields serves as one of the major schools in the Brickfields area. Most of the students going to this school are Malays and Indians.
