Putra World Trade Centre (GPS: 3.16859, 101.69161) is a convention and exhibition centre in Kuala Lumpur. Completed in 1985, it comprises a podium and the 40-storey Menara Dato Onn, which is usually referred to as Menara UMNO, as it is the head office of the United Malay National Organisation. The complex is located along Jalan Tun Ismail, near the confluence of Sungai Batu with Sungai Gombak.

Putra World Trade Centre offers 240,000 square meters of exhibition space, three large banquet halls and 17 meeting rooms, so it is ideal for conventions of all sizes. To provide for more exhibition space, an annex was built across Sungai Batu, accessed via Jalan Rahmat.

Updates on the Putra World Trade Centre

30 November, 2016: The Star reports of plans afoot to redevelop the Putra World Trade Centre. To be known as KL PWTC, it will occupy the grounds of the disused Hentian Putra. The development includes the construction of a 70-storey skyscraper to be the new headquarters of UMNO. There will also be a main hall, to be called the Tun Razak Hall, a retail podium, an office-and-hotel block and exhibition halls.
