Balai Seni Visual Negara (National Visual Arts Gallery Malaysia) (8 July, 2016)
Balai Seni Visual Negara, or
The National Visual Arts Gallery Malaysia, (GPS: 3.17372, 101.70513) is a major art gallery in
Kuala Lumpur. Unfortunately, I learn that at the time of writing (Jan 2016), the gallery is not operating and so is not open to the public. While the body was established as early as 28 August, 1958, by the first prime minister of Malaysia, the late Tunku Abdul Rahman, the building on
Jalan Tun Razak was completed in 2011. It houses a number of theatres for both visual and performing arts.
