Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur

Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (GPS: 3.17032, 101.6939) or MAIWP is the Islamic Council of the Federal Territory. It was established on 1 February, 1974, to look after the Islamic affairs of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur as a separate entity from Selangor. Its responsibility was extended to include Labuan and Putrajaya where these were made into federal territories on 16 April 1984 and 1 February 2001.

Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan is located in a 7-storey building on Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, known as Bangunan Baitulmal Wilayah Persekutuan. The building also houses a campus of the Pusrawi International College of Medical Sciences and a clinic run by Pusrawi.
