Jalan Yew, Kuala Lumpur (8 July, 2016)
Jalan Yew is a major road in Kuala Lumpur. It connects the Jalan Kampung Pandan roundabout in the north with the Jalan Loke Yew roundabout in the south.
Jalan Yew was named after Chinese businessman Yew Swee Guat1. There used to be a Yew Swee Guat Street in the Kuala Lumpur Chinatown, but it was absorbed into Foch Avenue, which in turn was later renamed Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. Another road in the Titiwangsa area, Seavoy Road, was also named Yew Swi Guat Road, after him. But that road too, was renamed later, to Lorong Titiwangsa 5. Jalan Yew is presently the only road in Kuala Lumpur bearing the name of Yew Swee Guat.

Major Junctions and Intersections of Jalan Yew
Jalan Kampung Pandan Interchange 
This is the northern start of Jalan Yew. It meets Jalan Kampung Pandan and Jalan Tun Razak in this three-tier interchange. The SMART Tunnel also runs under the interchange, but is not directly connected to Jalan Yew.
Jalan Pasar Interchange 
The Jalan Yew flyover crossed above Jalan Pasar, and is connected to it with three ramps. There is no exit from Jalan Yew to Jalan Pasar for southbound traffic.
Jalan Pudu Roundabout 
At this three-tier interchange, Jalan Yew is on a flyover while Jalan Pudu an underpass. A roundabout forms the interchange between them.
Jalan Loke Yew Roundabout 
The Jalan Loke Yew Roundabout is a three-tier interchange with Jalan Loke Yew having through flow on a flyover while Jalan Yew connects with Jalan Sungai Besi on an underpass.
