Jalan Parlimen is a road in Kuala Lumpur. It is named for the Malaysia House of Parliament to which it serves. For much of its route, Jalan Parlimen is a leafy avenue.
Jalan Parlimen starts at the Parliament Building in the west and ends at the intersection with Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in the east, from there it continues as Jalan Tun Perak. (Google Maps labels the eastern end of Jalan Parlimen at Jalan Raja Laut intersection, but road sign shows it ends at the Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman intersection slightly further east.) It between, it forms junctions with Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin, Jalan Berjasa and Jalan Cenderawasih before arriving at Bulatan Dato Onn, which is an interchange with Jalan Kinabalu.
Jalan Parlimen is created out of existing roads that has been there since the early part of the 20th century. The area that is presently the Perdana Botanical Gardens was the Lake Club. At one point, seven of the roads (Bluff Road, Clifford Road, Club Road, Garden Road, Maxwell Road, Tanglin Road and a driveway that is today part of Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin) converge at a point known as Seven Dials1.
