Jalan Panggung is a minor road in Kuala Lumpur. It connects Jalan Sultan to Jalan Balai Polis. The road on the southern part of Chinatown is one of the oldest streets in the city, having been around since the 19th century, when it was originally called Theatre Street. It was named after a Chinese theatre that was built by wealthy merchant Cheow Ah Yeok, who was a close associate of Kapitan Cina Yap Ah Loy.
