Jalan Madge, Kuala Lumpur (May 2024)
Jalan Madge is a minor road in the embassy precinct of
Ampang Hilir,
Kuala Lumpur. The road connects with Jalan U Thant on one end and with Persiaran Ampang Hilir on the other.
Jalan Madge, originally Madge Road, was named after Raymond Madge, a colonial-era lawyer who had served as an Unofficial Member of the Kuala Lumpur Sanitary Board
1 The road was possibly named after him because he owned property in the vicinity, particularly a two-storey bungalow on
Jalan Ampang Hilir. Today the road is lined with upscale landed properties and low-rise condominiums.
