Jalan Berangan is a one-way street. Traffic movement is from Jalan Sultan Ismail towards Lorong Ceylon. The road also intersections with Jalan Nagasari, and forms minor junctions with Jalan Bedara and jalan Beremi. The road was named after the chestnut, which is known in Malay as buah berangan.
