Designed by Pelli Clarke Architects, which was also associated with designing the original Petronas Twin Towers, it comprises two tower blocks on a six-storey podium. Tower 1 will be 380 meters (1,247 ft) while Tower 2 will be 278 meters (912 ft) in height. Tower 1 will be one of the tallest buildings in Kuala Lumpur, behind KL 118, Signature Tower at Tun Razak Exchange and Petronas Twin Towers.
Fairmont Kuala Lumpur will have a luxury hotel with 750 guest rooms and six dining outlets. Facilities include swimming pool, health club and spa. There will also be event space, ballroom, function rooms and other meeting facilities. The podium level of Fairmont Kuala Lumpur will have a shipping mall with connection to nearby Suria KLCC.
