Masjid Abu Bakar As-Siddiq, Sungai Petani (23 August, 2015)
Masjid Abu Bakar As-Siddiq (GPS: 5.62936, 100.48039) is one of the major mosques in Sungai Petani. It is located on the west side of Jalan Bakar Arang (which is part of Federal Route 1).
Masjid Abu Bakar As-Siddiq is a modern three-storey building. The prayer hall is a three storey building topped with a roof lantern. There are two staircase shafts and a minaret, all of which topped with gilded cup-shaped domes. The mosque has ample parking place in front and at the rear.
