Pulau Selang Besar is a small island in the Langkawi Archipelago. It is located off Tanjung Rami in Pulau Tuba. The island is paired with another island to the north of it called Pulau Selang Kecil. Both are uninhabited and undeveloped. There is no clear information with regards the etymology of the name of the island.
