Kompleks Pekan Rabu (GPS: 6.3168, 99.85117) is a commercial complex in Kuah, Langkawi. It was built at a cost of RM9 million so that smallholders can set up a business near the major tourist spot of Kuah. The name is taken from the Pekan Rabu complex in Alor Setar. The project was initiated by former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. The complex is four storey high and houses a total of 132 units of shoplots. It is managed by LADA.
Since its opening in early 2009, the response to Kompleks Pekan Rabu has not been encouraging. It has received few customers and business there has been slow. As a result, fewer than half of the 132 shop lots are occupied.
