Jalan Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup, Langkawi

Jalan Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup is a rural road in Langkawi. It is a meandering road that connects Jalan Chandekura in the north to Jalan Kedawang to the west. Jalan Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup curls its way through the Langkawi countryside. You can see lovely expanses of paddy fields on either sides, with the Machincang mountain range in the horizon. The name of the road probably points to a local legend. Batu belah means a boulder that has broken into two while batu bertangkup means a covered boulder.
