Masjid Batu Lima, Gurun (17 July, 2015)
Masjid Batu Lima (GPS: 5.81384, 100.54103) is a mosque at Taman Ria Mesra in Gurun, Kedah. It is named after the fifth milestone from Gurun town, on the road to Jeniang. This modern-style mosque has a bowl-shaped dome topping a hip roof.
I came upon Masjid Batu Lima accidentally. I was on my way to Gurun but took a wrong turn. As I drove on, it became more and more apparent that something was not right. I shopped in front of this mosque to ask for directions, and was told to make a U-turn.
