Gurun Datuk Kong shrine (17 July, 2015)
Gurun Datuk Kong Shrine (GPS: 5.81738, 100.47831) is a shrine to the local earth spirit. I stumbled upon this shrine when I was exploring Gurun. At the time of my visit, the shrine appeared newly built (or rebuilt). It faces a large statue which I suppose is that of the Datuk Kong, a most unusual thing, as the Datuk Kong is usually not represented with images.
